Joe Biden Has Asked Congress to Forgive $10K in Student Debt for All Borrowers
Joe Biden’s current time as President-elect has been a hectic one, as the former Vice President has been watching while events like the Capitol Building being stormed by Trump-supporting rioters.
Biden has denounced the riots, and now Biden has revealed some of his first plans after getting inaugurated.

Aides for Joe Biden noted that Biden will ask Congress to do away with $10,000 in student debt for all borrowers. Along with that, Biden will reportedly ask congress to extend the pause on payment of student loans.
The pause was implemented in the 2020 CARES act, and the extension for the pause is set to end January 2020.
The news come after Biden made promises related to forgiving student loans during his campaign. However, Biden has reportedly been facing pressure to cancel more debt and achieve the act by going around Congress.
